Small Game Hunting Clinics for youth,
especially those youth who may not be in a position to experience this kind of
outdoor activity otherwise. We plan on having at least four small game hunting
clinics for youth and possibly one Beyond BOW small game hunt.

Pass It On! matches mentors with youth to
provide them with experiences in the outdoors. This is a new program that is
being initiated by the HHFA, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, ADF&G, and several
outdoor groups.

New this year is our
camp for youth. The Alaska Conservation Camp will provide a comprehensive
learning experience for Alaska’s youth. Held in late May, the camp is also
supported by ADF&G and AIMCOMM.
As the educational arm of the NRA State
Association, the HHFA supports several NRA education programs such as the Youth
Hunter Education Challenge held each spring in Fairbanks
